Dry Leaf is a collective of artists formed by my family and I as a heading under which to place a variety of products we are selling on Etsy.com. My wife, my sister, and my mom are all in this with me, and it’s pretty awesome so far. We’re offering handmade apron sets for parents and kids, fine art photo prints, and random hand made crafts.
Dry Leaf was something we just sort of stumbled across. We had been playing with our initials, and looking through several dictionaries for ideas for words that start with D and L. As we were looking through a dictionary that hasn’t been used in years, a pressed dried leaf fell out from between the pages. My wife said, “What about Dried Leaf?”. We wrote it down and started to move on, but just kept coming back to it. We feel it covers the range of our offerings, and still represents the Northern Nevada climate we live in.

I work in a creative industry. You may have noticed. As a graphic designer, I tend to have other friends who are also creative. Some of those friends of mine make movies. That is an awesome creative talent, making movies.
